What can i do to cover the holes the dealer drilled for the front license plate?

I saw go to Home Depot, buy some of that plastic wood stuff that
comes in a tube. It's meant to cover screw head in molding and stuff like that. Fill the holes with that, then paint with your Audi touch-up paint from the dealer.
Don't know if this works, but i always wanted to try.

Same problem - my approach
I have thought about either putting on a euro plate or replacing the bumper insert. I picked up some black plastic trim screws at the parts store (the kind you stick through the hole and the turn to expand the portion in the bumper), drilled out the holes to the correct size and inserted the screws. Not a great look, but better than holes and cheaper than any other approach until I decide what to do for the long term.

Here are some pics of my <b>temporary</b> solution. I got these trim screww plugs at Autozone (I think) for $1.50 per package of two. I suspect that this won't work so well on a lighter color. Did I mention that this is temporary?
