is Sunoco 94 bad for our cars?

Does Sunoco contain methanol as I've read and if so is this very bad for our cars?

I've been putting 94 in my ride since I bought it but have read recently on other forums that the methanol in Sunoco's gas is very bad.

Thoughts?
