removing mirrors??

Re: you sure they aren't an overlay? a good thing to find out before tearing it apart.
I just checked about it again and it says that its a shell that replaces the oem painted one so you have to remove the existing shell...know how?

I took those two screws out but i still wasn't able to figure out how to get the shell off....do i have to remove the mirror itself and if so how do i do that? thanks for your help
