Anyone that has revo let me know if you notice this....

When I floor it in either 2nd 3rd sometimes 4th I can feel as the rpm's go higher the car kinda boost up then stop boost up then stop a few times. Is this normal? It feels as if the turbo boost jumps periodically maybe.. I dont know anyone notice something similar let me kno. If that doesn't make sense let me know I'll try and explain it better ;-)

It may be that.. but could it also be that I need a stronger DV?

I used to notice this...

Originally, my boost setting was too high for the equipment I had, according to Dave @ ecode.
So, he turned the boost and timing down to one of the lower settings, this took care of the weird issues like that and some initial pinging. After upgrading to copper plugs, made sure my Forge DV was cool, added an FMIC, I was able to have the Revo settings turned up without any adverse reactions like the surging. I believe it's really just a matter of having the proper support equipment in place to fully utilize the higher settings.

Mine used to surge alot, but I got an updated version of the code and now it doesn't do it anymore.

It used to idle kinda rough too. My car is a 2004.5, with an AK ECU. I know that there were some issues with the software for the AK box. It was just a few days ago that it got fixed. Check with your Revo dealer, they may have an update for you.
