noob question... how does a coilover work on the rear suspension of a4 when the spring and shock

are seperate? does the spring have its own unit that compresses it?

i have never seen an image of this before. thanks -scott

The shock is in the same location but the spring comes with an adjustable seat

The screw style seat allows the height to be adjusted.
