Anybody have a clicking/tapping sound from the front suspension *coilover owners*?
I have a set of TEIN Basic coilovers and they click/tap sometimes when you hit a bump. We removed all parts, re-installed rubber boots, put all rings/seats back but the sound prevails. H&R and KONI owners have this problem too? Please post up! Thanks, Mike

mine is more of a clunkish tap
but its not from the rubber hat not being tight enough.
it only happens on atlanta roads, i don't get it when i'm on smoother roads back up in md.
mine did start squeaking tho... gotta look into that this weekend.

Re: check the coil seat.. sometimes the tip climbs the little notch and 'falls' back down..
.. when it rotates around the shocks..
Another way is to fasten the spring to either end so it doesn't bounce around when you're taking hard corners... try strong nylon cable ties.
