Thinking of running 20's on a 3.0 A4

Ive done the search on the threads. My question is since the 3.0 has a bigger wheelbase than the 1.8's? Will a 20 x 8.5 with a 245/30/20 or 235/35/20 rub on a sport suspension? Anyone running 20's on a 3.0 out there? Thanks a bunch in advance! This is an awesome resource!

Here's my take...

The 1.8T and 3.0 have the same wheelbase (i.e. measurement from front wheels to rear wheels). Also, you may have some rubbing issues with 245's, depending on the offset. I think a 35mm offset is pretty aggressive with the size of wheels and tires you're talking about putting on. There are people on here running 20's but not sure what their exact setup is.

I'm on 19's with 235/35/19 tires and stock sport suspension and don't have any rubbing issues.

same wheelbase. i personally think 20's just look silly. that and they'll do nothing but hurt

overall handling, braking, ride, etc.

Only reason i was considering that wheel is b/c my brother has a wholesale connection and i can get the wheel/tire package for under $2k out the door. Decisions, decisions.......
