To install DV or not???
I had my REVO tunning done a couple of weeks back and now I ordered and received the Bosch Sport 110 Bypass Valve from Hoppen so I called the same dealer where I had my REVO installed to set up an appointment to install the DV. When asked I told him what kind I got and he schedule me to come in and have the DV installed. But he also told me that I won't be able to see any gains in throttle response or turbo lags with this DV. He actually recommended to get the Forge DV. My questions to you guys is, is it true that I won't notice any changes in throttle response/reduce turbo lag??? Even if that is the case what are the benefits of me installing the BOSH DV???? Shall I just go ahead and do it or buy a different DV?

This topic has been discussed many a time...
Diaphragm valves work good but they're prone to failing due to the rubber diaphragm which can rip.
Piston valves are slowish and require regular maintanence.
BOVs: There are only a few that will work for our cars. However the ones that do work are much faster than diverter valves. I would recommend the Forge Dual Piston BOV. It will require maintanence but it will work great.

Sport 110 works fine and is tested by MTM up to 400-450hp. I've used them on
both my Audis and never had to replace one. Dont expect gains from a DV, just expect it to work correctly and adequately hold/release boost. The 110 does this just fine. Your dealer wants to sell you a part. cheers! Mike

DV noise question for you...
I've had a Dahlback diverter valve installed for a week now, and everytime I lift off the gas it makes a squeeking sound. I presume that this is the piston, but typically do diverter valves make a loud squeek? dahlback is in the process of sending me a new one to install and compare, but this squeek is quite loud and annoying! TIA
