Just test drove a 2.0 B7. A few thoughts.................
It did have more kick, but not as much as I expected, the low end moved nice however. The exhaust noise was seveal notes lower and sounded nice. The engine was also smoother. I did not think it handled as well as my ultrasport, and that may be just the tires, but it was no brick either. Sitting in the car the feel is still the same and you know where you are. The radio controls on the steering wheel is a nice touch! The seats also felt softer, might be better on a long trip. All-in-all this is a nice car. I still like the looks of my '04 better, but Audi will still sell a ton of these. As I mentioned in an earlier post the price is a little high. The one I drove was 35K with some options (sunroof, leather, sport suspention)but no nav. That's what my ultrasport cost a year ago with all options. Anyway I'm keeping mine until the B8's
