Whats diff between lowering car with springs and shocks vs coilovers?
You pay for any kind of adjustability, so height adjustability of CO's cost more than springs/shocks, you add rebound damping adjustment and it'd cost more, add compression damping adjustment as well and even more money's needed.
"Setback" for CO is that you have to spend the time to do the adjustments properly, or you could end up having a car that handles worse than separate springs/shocks.
But you got the "more you spend..." thing right.
It's not just comfort that costs money though; performance does too...
