Admitedly, I got a base model. But with my $500 chip, i'm putting down close to 200hp. If audi keeps these kind of price hikes going, i'm gonna be hanging on to my 1.8T for a long while - I'm sure the euro exchange rate has a lot to do with it though.

oh dang...i paid 34,400 from my 04 3.0 with ultra sport...and cold weather...
sticker was 41k....i thought i got a great deal...but sounds like u got a bomb deal. Of course this was over half a yr ago...

I'd say going from 41k to 34k is good negotiating, plus...
your car has car looks a lot nicer out of the box with the usp. And reading your sig, i just remebered that i wouldn't mind having a 6 speed (although they only offered then after the 03 model - which would have meant no amulet red).
The reason i got mine cheap was cos it was the end of the 03 year, at the end of the month and the dealership had 3 other base models on the lot. Timing really is everything :-)

timing is everything...the only reason why i got mine for such a good price was because
half a yr ago...there were only 2004.5 and 05 models...and they wanted to get rid of their last 04...so I got a good deal too. Plus the finance manager is a good friend. But timing does make a diff. dealers are desperate to hit quotas, esp. at the end of the month.

Got my 02 for 22,000 w/ 9000 miles on it
Extended warrenty included when I got it 20 monthes ago. Originally had moonroof, stock sound, stock halogen lamps, 15'' wheels on P-Zeros, leather, heated front and rear, no nav or anything else. I'm happy with the deal I got. Service is awesome at A of HV until the last time, they put my car on the lift and snapped pieces off the skirts, but I'm not worried. S**t like this happens to me and I figured something like this would happen. Anyways, since they are paying for it all to be replaced I am not worried.

wow. i paid the same for new '02 with a SR but w/o sport
didn't matter since i replaced suspension anyway.
i was thinking the same - i cannot justify a 40K B7 ( hope to sell my condo/buy a house within a year or two), like the design of B6 more & i'm not done modding yet!!!
