Help! My dashboard storage pocket is stuck! LOL

Hi all,

I put a parking lot card and some bills into the little rectangular drawer on the dash (just left of the hazard lights switch).

Now the thing is stuck in the dash and I can't open it anymore! Any tricks on how to get it open again?

you might want to visit the dealer on this one.

while i didn't have this problem, my ESP button was being replaced, the technician pulled out the entire section of the button, tray, hazard light, and cup holder with relative ease. I noticed several plastic clips behind...it did not look like something one could do if it was the 1st time.

Try pushing a straightened paper clip in the top to hold the bills down. Good luck!

You might be able to fit a credit card in far enough to hold down the items, just don't loose it

Here's what I did......

I took a pocket knife and inserted it on the right bottom edge and pulled it out. That's the easiest solution I have come up with. Just be careful not to scratch anything. Mine has gotten stuck so many times that I don't even use it anymore.
