::frankenstein voice::"it's Aliiiiiive" Passport 50 hardwire complete....details inside
so with the help of Phill (Pmark837) he helped me wire up the Passport 8500 X50 radar detector.
Setup:-Passport powers up with the car
-On/off switch under the steering column by the cubby for the manuals under the steering wheel(for those times the detector gets annoying if you're in the city and have constant falsies).
-Mute button in the empty button on the dash(the one to the right of the ESP button) this eliminates the need to reach up and press the mute button on the detector.
