Full Road Force Balance...no more vibes even at 80 MPH or 60 MPH...
My local shop (MLS Tires in Freeport NY) has the Hunter unit. While he has done RFB for me on a single tire fdue to repairs, this is my first time MLS did all four and it was worth the $80.00.
Not only did he check the run out all are within .120, but after the balance phase, the RFB system then gave us the layout of which tire should be in which position as a result of their individual RF charactaristics.
My left front is now my right rear, my right rear is now my Left Rear, etc.
The simply are no vibes at any speed.
No appointment, less than 1 hour, and they even set their air gun to 89 Ft/LBS for me.

Corner balance is an Old School (primarily trucks) methood.
Its done with the tires/wheels still on your car. You attach a counter balance ring assembly to the outside of the wheel and then a portable power wheel to your tire. The power wheel goes up to about 50MPH and then the vibes offset movable slides on the counter balance ring. Its 100% mechanical and works wonderfully on old rear drive non poistraction cars. It would most likely hurt any quattro, or Haldex system.
RFB actuall feels the tire surface and the roundness or out of round of the wheel.
