HUGE police speed trap on the Southern State @ Bethpage Pky!!! (edited with pics)
On the west bound side of the SS, there is an unmarked cruiser atop the grass mound at the Bethpage Pky exit targetting both west bound and east bound vehicles.
Here is the "shooter" as Jubal referred to him..totally hidden until you round the bend in the road..

All the chasers were staged behind that hill...totally out of site..
And from the southern side of the SS...

The chasers...Five troppers are stationed on the shoulder on the entrance Bethpage Pky from the Southern State east bound.

Passed by once and all the police were at a stand still...by the second pass all were deployed.
Actually a real nice setup from a strategic perspective...
Then saw two Crown Vics on the Oyster Bay with cars pulled over as well...
