i never realized plane tickets were so cheap in ohio.
so i was 30 miles into ohio cruising along with a large group when all of a sudden this cop is standing in the left lane of route 80 signaling everyone to pull over. i was first in line because i just happen to be passing a truck. my first thought was ok, i was speeding, but not by much. at that time i was going maybe 75 in a 65.
so.. he comes to my window first and starts to tell me about how 5 miles back they have a strip of highway that's used for speed checks by airplanes.
long story short he gave me a ticket for 86 in a 65, only $131. but now i have a cool story to tell and a ticket that clearly says "PLANE" where the equipment used to catch me is listed.

First ticket is cheap.
They've raised it since my last ticket out there (80 in 65 for $65), but they have a fine system that progressively gets expensive if you've had repeat offenses in the last 3 years. It gets expensive fast.

Humm... I got the same ticket too in Ohio and the cop was facing the other way too.
He had to back out of the middle divider onto incoming traffic to stop me.
I think the cops at Ohio has nothing else better to do. Sooo many highway cops in that state, once you pass ohio and into indiana or pensylvania, all the cops disappear.
points dont transfer so just pay instead of wasting time to go back there for court date
