OK, we need to get this supervised mod day organized
Today I got hosed once again by handing a simple job to a repairman. Wanted my spark plug changed. Went to Advance Auto(great guys) picked up some $10 bosch top o the line platinum plugs. Searched for shop to install. I know its a quick install from posters on board. Estimated at about 10min. So go to the shop the guy says sure no promblem. He drives my car and 10 mins hes done. The cute girl behind the counter asks me for $47. I said "what for", she said for the install. 10 mins became $45 labor because its rated as a tune-up!!! $55 total and it wasnt even copper plugs!!! Im sorry im born to a computer engineer who didnt feel like getting his hands dirty till he hit 40. I need to get this session done so people like me dont get HAD much more. Im interested in doing a break install. Im in Connecticut so a group in CT would be nice. Just a review of the post I had a month ago.
Everybody will meet at a central location, paved lot (were dealing with jack stands) within reach of an autoparts store.
Every person besides the mod supervisor will give $20 to the super.
The super is there to supervise not instruct from scratch. Its a group effort so if your done with your ride help the next person along if you have expeirence.
Mods covered: Spark plugs, brake pad replacement- caliper painting, brake bleading, oil change, steering wheel replacement, clear corners

I've done pads, caliper painting, brake bleeding, oul changes steering wheel replacement and clear corners...plus countless other DIY mods and repairs..
