I lived in STL for almost 5 years....
While I was there I had a 72 Datsun 240Z, a 92 Miata, and an 00 GTI VR6. It's true that it is tough to find some good driving roads, but they ARE there. Have you driven to Herrman and the wineries?
Where in STL are you? (I was in the DeMun section of Clayton).

Yes, we have driven to the wineries & the Great River road...
about a dozen of us "car guys" do at least one drive a year. Mostly Audi & VW, but some M3's and an NSX the last time.
As of now, my driver is a modified 1999.5 Gti Vr6 (suspension, brakes, etc). Used to have a TT ALMS. Hoping for a used RS4 in the next couple of years.
I live further into the 'burbs....St Charles.

It's funny that you say that. As soon as I finished reading the story & seeing the pics..
I thought that I might want to figure a trip to NY next year for the drive! A lot of fun for sure!
