VT ski areas need snow/cold weather so bad there directing people to other areas.

VT ski areas need snow/cold weather so bad there directing people to other areas.
I've never heard of a ski area (Mount Snow) telling people that they are closed for now and to go to another ski area.(Killington)

We still love you, New England weather. We have to close for a few days but plan to reopen Saturday. Our sister mountain, Killington, has 16 trails open - check them out!
I'm just happy its getting cold again.

Because it's also a good business move....
People who drive all the way up there and can't ski somewhere, will be less motivated to drive up there at all the next time around if the weather is mild and all the resorts can potentially be open with no customers..
