please help.....

my turbo feels weird in forth gear and forth gear only. i've posted about this before but i didn't get any response. in forth gear at a high rpm the turbo feels like it cuts in and out meaning i have boost then no boost, have boost then no boost. this all happens anywhere above 4k rpms. my foot is steady on the accelerator but it feels like i'm flooring it and then letting go. there is no CEL but it's bothering me. any advice or help is appriciated. thanks.

Were you going uphill when the turbo started to feel like it was cutting out?

what mods...did you pressure test?

does it feel like throttle cut?
what happens in 3rd at 4k-5k rpm?
did you try to unplug the maf to see if it goes away?
did you unplug ecu? any codes?

it feels more like turbo cut.
in 3rd gear and every other gear i have no problems whatsoever.
i might have to try that maf thing.
never unplugged the ecu. no codes.

I would try the coils ...

I have had some only miss under a heavy load , and ofcourse some that just blow up, I told you that last time we spoke, it's worth a shot and easy enough for you to do it yourself ,Sal
