anyone have a good accountant they can reccommend?
my old one i got rid of didnt do sh*t for me aside from fill in numbers in the boxes which i could do my own damn self...
just need to file personal federal and state(nj), nothing overly fancy, no home business, etc...

be careful w/ whom you end up using btw. Accountants that rear you big returns usually aren't doing things by the book, and can cause you major problems if ever audited. The problem will come back to haunt you, and not your accountant. I personally recommend using turbotax or an equivalent if you're just filing for yourself. Its straight forward and quick. It gets a little more complicated if you have dependents etc.

2nd Turbotax is my choice for filing with no drama
If your gonna file strait up and not play games its not worth it to pay an accountant. If you have all other complexities... capital gains, crazy dividends, amortizations etc than an accountant may be worth it. I do my my own and I have a home and child and its not complicated. Cost about 40ish to use print and efile.
