Getting exited about an NFL game can be hazardous to your GF's place>
So I am watching what I now call the killing fields (Colts against the Patriots).
GF left for Europe 2 hours ago. Laying back with one of my favorite wine. Totally forgot I was cooking mergez (Morocan sausage) on the pan with some couscous on the side.
What do you know.......I forgot to turn the ventilation fan on. Fire alarm goes screams, fat from the Mergez is now embracing the all white kitchen walls.
The super came up already to ask me if everything was ok. If you are between Colombus and broadway on 71 st and see a window open with a fan blowing exhausting a smell of Morocan cuisine: That's me.
