Default With the new year I have decided to further my education the the european car field. My question is

Are there schools in the area that specialize in like Audi/BMW say a tech school or would it best to go take college classes?

Default I went to Lincoln Tech and thought it was a waste of money when I was done.

The only good part about it was it got me into the VW Graduate Program, which prepared me to work in a VW dealer. 3 years after that, I jumped ship to Audi. Audi also has a graduate program with identical admission requirements.

Default LOL, depending on what software you go with.

some are more tweak friendly like AWE/GIAC.
3 things you need, lemmiwink, VAG and ECUx.
before you grasp enough knownledge to tweak, simply log your car, and post the logs. people will respond. if you have the desire to log and post, people will help you, especically the b5 s4 crowd. you'll be soaking up knownledge.

the tweak masters on the b5 s4 forum are Ah10, mike2ks4 and piggiesmalls.

Default I'd go right to the dealer and work my way up from ground level.

But if I had to do it all over again, I would have stayed in college.

Default theres nothing better then a custom tune. Unless you can get the same type of software tuners use...

and know how to use it and tune accordingly. the lemmitweaks program is not really that smart to use. if im correct when you play with timing in lemmi it advances or retards the enitre ignition curve. thats not always a good thing especially if you have an already lean top end. custom programing with the right software allows you to tune the entire power band and set the timing in intervals of 25 rpms. awesome program.
