OK, I need an authoritative answer to a question for the car listed below:
Apparently, 2 possible rear rotor sizes. Build label says 1KD, not 1KP.
Does that mean Audi was kind enough to put 1.8T rear rotors (245x10mm) on my 3.0 Avant? (A car, I might add, more likely to have a heavier load over the rear...)
Will existing calipers & 15" wheels fit if I just buy the "1KP" 255x12mm rotors?

Well, easiest way to check is get the size or part number off your current rotors...
The 2002 A4 3.0 is definitely 255x12mm rotors in the rear. Are you sure you have 15's? hit me up with your VIN and I can look further.

And you're right - I have 16" rims. I'm used to 16" being the plus-1 size from my old car.
I'd appreciate the check - I'd have to wait until tomorrow to take a wheel off and measure (or find a part number), and I'd love to order my parts today!
