Geez, the ACNA fall run is sure gonna put some miles on my car

Let's see...

my house to HBL = 15 miles / 30 minutes
HBL to Little Grill Collective = 120 miles / 2 hours
the actual run = 190 miles / 7.5 hours (with plenty of stops for sure)
Buckhorn Inn to my house = 160 miles / 3 hours
-------
Total = 485 miles / 13 hours :O

I guess I can stop worrying about breaking in the clutch now, this'll do it.

Well, I MAY be driving the route after all. IF I go. :oT

During the brake flush on Saturday at Jim's, I noticed that my 2 rear tires were shot. Just about down to the wear bars, and don't think it'll pass the penny test. I'm deciding on what to do about tires, since VIR is right around the corner. IF I decide to just replace all 4, perhaps this "little run" can break them in a bit, but not sure. I'm still researching what my best options are. DEFINITELY wasn't part of my budget to attend VIR this time around. If I replace 2, then I'll just slap them on the rears, and run VIR with that set up. I've also got an offer to borrow GSDs from a kind soul on the allroad forum.

We'll see. I'll keep you freaks updated, as a spot may open up for VIR.

Dammit.
