I think I have an idea as to how to minimize the fishmouth look of the new A6&A4
After studying the pictures released, I think the look can be softened by 2 relatively easy modifications:Have the horizontal bar onto which the license is mounted painted the body color. Likewise, have the bright metal that outlines the grille painted body color. This, I believe, will soften the look and divide the grille into upper and lower components similiar to the current configuration. Cost should not be that much. I wonder if anyone could do a photoshop so that we could compare the two?

Saw the new A6 in person yesterday
at the "unveiling" event at the dealer... The grille didn't look too bad, maybe because the car itself was dark-blue. Other than the grille, the car was pretty good looking, actually.
