Two tone Silver?

Two tone Silver?
I have had my car for a little more than 3 months now and every time I look at it in the Sun light it looks like it's two tone.
What I mean is that the Plastic bumper end caps are a different shade of Silver than the rest of the car. The ends are slightly darker than the metal painted portions of the car. Is this true on anyone else's car? Is it just light silver? My B5 was the same color, but the plastic ends were the same color as the rest of the car on that one. Let me hear from you.
