have tranny & engine problems been fixed yet?

Hello everyone.

New to the forum, German engineering, and the amazing S4.

I've had her for about a week now and have had no problems.

I did notice numerous posts from 2003 about transmissions and engines failing early. Has this issue been handled by Audi or am I driving a potential brand-new lemon?

If your car was made after Novement/December 2003 youll be fine....

I really think they fixed it earlier then that but I say that to be safe.
