Anyone used Plexus on your wheels / Wheel Lips?

Anyone used Plexus on your wheels / Wheel Lips?
That stuff works GREAT on just about everyting so I e-mailed Plexus to inquire as to whether it would be safe for wheels, particularly the anodized wheel lip on my Maya STMs.
The response I got was that it should be great on wheels for it's anti-static qualities and the anodized finish should be no problem.
I think the only thing that will damage the anodized finish is acid based cleaners so I am pretty sure the Plexus will be fine. The e-mail I got back was from the 'Director' of Marketing and Sales so he's going to be hearing for me if the info he provided was incorrect!
