After running a track event...
Considering the weight of this car, there is not enough stopping power and the car is baised too much toward the front brakes.
Otherwise, it is a blast to drive. Very balanced and predictable. Hard to believe it is a 4 door sedan
I went with some frozen rotors to keep cost down. I went with Mark at Diversified Cryogenics and got a set of OEM rotors, frozen and slotted. ECS makes a set of replica rotors (2-piece) and are pretty damn expensive.
As for pads, I've been having great experiences with Carbotech. I'd recommend their XP8 pad for the track. Call and ask for Matt.
There is just not enough feel in those brakes to inspire a deep entry into turns.
Regardless, I'm going pretty deep into my braking zones, normally getting on the binders right past 3, around 2 2/3 or 2.5. The brakes can take it, I've upgraded to frozen/slotted oem's, stainless lines, motul 600 fluid, and some serious track pads, but I'm losing my pedal and it practically goes on/off after 1/2 a day.
Glad you had fun!
