has anyone replaced their short shifter with the stock shifter....
is it fairly easy. I'm having trouble with getting it into reverse. I know it can be adjusted but i'm thinking about getting a new car so id rather put the stock one back in. TIA.

Just as easy to put the stocker back in.
Aligning it can be tricky at time, but once done correctly, there are no issues with reverse or any other gear selection. Took me a few tries to get it right.
I have a writeup in the tech section of the site on how to install the short shifter. You can follow the directions and just use the stocker instead.
