Default Fuel filter clog....
.... my fuel pump started whining a bit, then eventually made some truly disturbing noises. Brought to dealership, and they replaced the fuel filter: voila! Noise gone. The suprising part is how much power this had robbed from the top end. It happened so gradually, I didn't even realize it. Getting the power back was like a breath of fresh air. I had forgotten how this car pulls like a locomotive all the way to the top. Amazing.

Default From what I've heard/seen on dynos, you probably lost
+/- 30hp starting around 4500 rpm's.
Common problem that probably goes unnoticed by most owners.
