Insurance quandary...
Insurance quotes for the new A4 ($75K agreed value and all other options equal eg: windscreen covert etc.)
Shannons - $1850 (own repairer)
RACV - $1440 (own repairer but no lifetime warranty on repairs)
AAMI - $1100 (their repairer and lifetime warranty on repairs)
I'm currently with Shannons because my car is modified. Anybody have experience RACV & AAMI?

I think you need to go through the dealership.
If you find a way to deal directly with JLT (the broker), let me know. It would be nice to save that "admin fee" which is what gets paid to the dealer.
Mind you, why would JLT bite the hand that feeds them?
I had an accident a couple of years back and the unwriting insurer (Allianz) was fine to deal with. It would have been nice to simply drop off the car to my dealer, as you do with BMW Insurance.
