Why are so many tuning companys taking forever to release their exhaust systems?

I was going to let them test on my car....
They offered a free exhaust system. I told them if they included the DP's at cost it was a go but they didn't want to deal at all with the DP's. At first it seemed like a heck of a deal to get the free system but then I started to think about it more and thought if I do it and something as small as a squeak or rattle is there that wasn't there before it would be a total loss.

Why would it be a total loss? Free and AWE doing the install how could u go wrong?
The dp's are the same B6/7, at least for the manual cars.
Keep the stock system and if you dont like it put the OE back on.

Arent the drivetrains the same for B6/B7s? why would they need to reengineer a system, wouldnt they just need to make new tips and align them to compensat for difference in length?
Or am I missing something?

Its a whole different beast, but Labree will have theirs out before summer....
True, the DPs are the same but thats about. They have to re-engineer the h-pipe connector as well as the muffler and tips have turned out to be a complete pain in the ****....
I think alot of companies are waiting to see if Audi might actuallykeep this body style for more than 2 production years. It takes alot of time and $$$ to RD, test, produce and sell this stuff.
But look for a Labree GB in the near future for an exhaust system.
