Treating leather & cloth (beige)
Hey all,
What do you use to clean/treat/maintain the leather and the floor covering dealies? It seems the leather in my car (beige) is slightly dirty, but the floor mat especially is almost black. I don't want to get Audi's black, heavy-duty floormats, because they don't match in my car due to the color. How do I clean them? Can I throw them in the washing machine w/ the plastic eyelet things removed?
Please recommend specific brands for the leather question.

I use Luxol leather cleaner and conditioner. The cleaner is in an orange bottle and the conditioner in a brown bottle. It either comes in a spray or in hand wipes. The guy who sold me my audi recommended it. he also says to use a damp cloth with light soap to clean the dash and doors, cuz all the stuff they have at pep boys or autozone makes the dash shine, but the dash on the audis is not meant for that shine.

Apparently I had not noticed the available colors in the paper catalog. Is the one in the picture the clay colored one? IF so, it still wouldn't match my interior, but thanks for the heads up!

Check the detailing forum. Those guys will give you pathologically good reviews...
on what they use. I ordered the Zaino system based on their recommendations and havent touched my Lexol since. cheers! Mike

Luxol products
Hey - I got mine from a local Audi Club detail demo from a specialty detailing shop in Costa Mesa - the Carnuba Store - but im sure its available at other specialty-auto-detail/supply stores. Or check this shops' web site online (or anyone else selling these producys - Lexol or Luxol - for got the spelling)!.
