As mentioned by of our our SCC Audi/ACNA members, "<i><b>The AFI Fest is sponsored by Audi and one of the volunteers jobs is the opportunity to drive celebrities and directors around town in new Audis</b>. This would be a great opportunity to strengthen ties with Audi marketing, the film industry, and celebrity knowledge of the Audi brand.</i>"



Get ready for AFI FEST 2005 presented by Audi! We are seeking volunteer assistance for all aspects of Festival preparation and production, both prior to and during this year's Festival, which runs November 3-13. We are greatly indebted to the many dedicated, motivated and talented individuals who volunteer their time each year, helping us to welcome the world of cinema to Los Angeles.

Volunteers will learn the nuts and bolts of film festival production with opportunities in all areas: Awards Program, Box office, Cinema Lounge, Community Outreach, Delivery Drivers, Digital Media, Filmmaker Check-in, Food Acquisitions, Galas, Gift Bag Management, Hospitality, Information, Kodak Connect, Load-out, Office Support, Photographers, Publicity, Special Events, Sponsorship, Technical, Theater Staff, Transportation, Tribute Production, Videography and Volunteer Desk.



For best information on how to be a volunteer for this upcoming Festival season, please plan to attend our annual Call for Volunteers on Monday, October 3, at 7:00 p.m. on the AFI Campus (2021 N. Western Avenue, just north of the intersection of Western and Franklin). The meeting will take place in the Mark Goodson Screening Room inside the Louis B. Mayer Library.



This meeting is for both new and returning volunteers and will include descriptions of crew, staff expectations and an explanation of the volunteer awards structure. All participants should come prepared with a completed volunteer application, which may be downloaded by clicking on the PDF link on this page. Attach a resume and photo of yourself if you have one. If you are unable to download the PDF, you will be able to fill out an application at this meeting. Bring a pen--and bring friends who also love film and want to meet new people! Help us spread the word about this very important meeting!
