Sweet ride. I like my A8 but from what I've seen, you guys have it good too :-)

Default Add APR Flash and exhaust and you get 70 home HP and 120 more TQ.
for a mere 2k. Yummy.

Default What? They only get an additional 29whp with the chip at a 7.5% drivetrain loss...
Do you have any info on how the exhaust gives them 30hp since it is the same exhaust for the B6 with the exception of a different but similarly sized downpipe and it only gives about 15hp? Any info on this? Thanks. cheers! Mike

Default Its not just the exhaust...its the additional software that you get with the exhaust
from APR when they reflash the ECU after taking into consideration the new exhaust system...see APR's posts from about a week ago on these pages.

Ahh, that's for the A3 using the 3" exhaust and already starting at more hp.

Default of course considering less drivetrain loss with no quattro...
but I have to imagine putting 320 TQ to the ground on FWD isnt fun. The car chripped the front tires as is stock.

Default Their giving numbers in crank hp, so drivetrain loss is corrected for....
I agree, the frontrack would not be a fun track car. I had to sell my front track B5 for that reason. I couldnt even get out of turns on the track without roasting them. cheers! Mike
