Question regarding APR's Snub Mount

What purpose does it serve? and is it really worth it (I have a Tip Quattro)? Also if purchased is this something that is able to be installed at home, or should it be installed by a mechanic?

Very easy to install. Was a great upgrade on the B6...

to reduce "slop" in the drivetrain. On the B7, however, I do not have any slop in the tranny so i'm not sure if it's really needed. cheers! Mike

Agreed. It was good on our B5 S4 (only helped a bit), but the B7 doesn't seem to need it.

for your replies... doesn't sound like this is something that I will look into any further. Now the APR exhaust when that comes out.... that's different
