Turning off the "Passanger Seat Belt" warning light

I hate the fact that I have this odd amber light on almost all of the time. Is there a way to turn it off permanantly? If not, you think there's a way to change it from amber to red?

Get a HEXCOM cable to turn off the warning

It's been discussed to death here... it's definetly the most hated safety "feature". AS for changing colour, that'll mean going into the instrument cluster for that.

I popped the button off and shoved in black tape. Works great

where can you get this cable and how much is it?

edit: i found a couple on ebay but im confused with the interface versions. also what type of software do i need to run it and what are the advantages besides turning on and off the passenger lights?

do i need a can-bus for my audi a4 2005?
