Default Koni coilovers

I am having Koni coilovers installed next week. I need your input as to what else you guys would recommend doing at the same time with respect to the suspension. If I lower the minimum 25mm do I need a camber kit/rear control arms?

My car is an 05 TT 225hp

You'll want new front upper strut bearings/bushings.
With a minimal lowering, there's a chance you won't need any adjustment in the rear. It's a close call.

Default New parts needed

Yes, the upper strut bearings are needed, and you can get away without a camber correction for a couple of thousand miles but you will eventually need a camber correction. I have had the Koni coilover kit on my car for the last few thousand miles and I have the camber correction kit but I haven't installed it yet, but will soon, and I'll probably do all of the rest of the suspension bushings at the same time.

Default Get a set of k-mac adjustable bushings for the control arms. At

least a 1/2 set, but might as well get a full set for both lower and upper arms. If you decide to go lower than an inch you may have issues with toe and may need the extra adjustability. I'm dropped a smidge over 1.25" on koni coils and I decided to run a full set of k-macs just in case. Don't know if the alignment guy needed all four but he hit my specs dead-on.

Oh, and you might as well put a larger rear sway bar in while you're there =] I have a 19mm neuspeed.

I'm down a bit more than an inch and my front camber is conservative with the stock adjustment. Or were you talking about the rear? I personally like the adjustable arms more than the KMACs

Default Yea, the Kmacs in the rear. I have the 1/2 set. 1.5" lower than stock.

The 1/2 KMACS are doing fine, I'm not planning on going any lower than 1.5" from stock.

Default Sorry, I thought you were asking about

possible camber issues in the rear. I don't have anything for camber correction in the front.

The lower ball joint has a fair bit of adjustment. The really slammed guys use extended plates. (you'll likely be seeing more of those here....)
