Do aftermarket parts void the warranty?
Case in point, if you added an SC, and broke the driveshaft, your warranty claim to fix the driveshaft will probably be denied.
But if you added a SC, and your rain sensor on your windshield malfunctioned, it should be covered. Do not be surprised, however, if a dealer does not want to work on a modded car.. right or wrong, there is a range of viewpoints from dealers on modifications, despite what the law states (lookup the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act....)
Also, just recently (around 18,000 miles for me) I had a fuel sensor replaced under warranty, no questions asked, at a dealer that had never met me or seen my car until it came in on a flatbed with a check engine light. After that I would say I'm still under warranty, and there's no way anyone could not notice how much louder my car is over stock. (AWE downpipes and non resonated Milltek Exhaust.)

They key is whether the dealer can prove that the aftermarket product caused the fault.

. I hope whatever's wrong is minor and covered under warranty (maybe it's the same fuel sensor issue you had)
