The Worst Case Scenaro: Aftermarket "Warranty"
If you're like me, you pray for the day that AoA will offer mods like chips to enhance performance without compromising your Audi warranty.
I'd chip / exhaust my S4 in a heartbeat and pay double the going rate if offered through Audi, assuming my warranty clearly stayed intact.
I think Mercedes does this somewhat with AMG.
Well, here's a revolting development with TRD and Toyota which makes it explicitly clear that your warranty will absolutely be voided.
They only give a one year warranty on their part, e.g., a supercharger or exhaust, and don't cover labor at all. More 'aggressive' mods don't even get the one year warranty on the part.
I sure hope this isn't the wave of the future.<ul><li><a href="http://www.kazumaparts.com/homepage.htm">http://www.kazumaparts.com/homepage.htm</a</li></ul>

Straight off their website from FAQs...
Q. Will installing Kazuma parts void my car’s warranty?
A. In general, installing any aftermarket part on a vehicle that is still covered under the terms of the manufacturer’s new vehicle warranty does not necessarily void your new vehicle warranty. However, if in the opinion of the vehicle manufacturer the aftermarket part caused a warranted original equipment part to fail, the manufacturer is not responsible for the cost of any repairs attributable to the aftermarket part.
