Interior Motion sensor not lighting up

how do I turn it on and off with that button? Its not lighting up no matter how I push it. I would like to test it out to see if its working or if I need to fix it any tips? Sorry for all the questions but this is a pretty hi-tech car and i didnt get a manual with mine.

You open the drivers door then hit the button.

It should light up.

Then leave the car and close the door. I use mine when I have our dawg with me.

so if its lit does that mean that its disengaged?

Mine has never turned on either. My alarm is too sensitive with the windows open and will go off when people walk past it sometimes. What gives?
