Oil Pressure problem (help)....

Hey guys. Yesterday, I was trying to back the Audi out of some icy/slush mix. It took a little effort but I got it out. But as I was driving off, the "Oil Pressure" light came on. I stopped and checked the level. Topped it off thinking that may help. No oil drips on the ground or where I was parked before. Could it be that there is a sensor somewhere down low that got messed up as I pulled out of the crust? This is the first time this light has ever come on.

I'm going to jack it up. What should I look for?

some things to look at

There is a level sensor in the bottom of the oil pan, which is easy to see with the belly pan off. I would check the wiring, which is a favorite for animals to eat. If the wiring is all good, it might be the sensor itself.

Another possibility is the oil pressure sensor on the oil cooler. If you have a vag-com, you can check the oil pressure in the measuring blocks of the interment cluster. I think it is block 4, but do not quote me on that.

I'll check when it warms up a little outside. It's the dreaded red symbol though.
