Just a heads up!
Cars been in the shop for 10 months. Ever heard of a bent cam from a failed clutch installation? Yea, me either. Needless to say, an auto shop in my area is getting sued very, very soon.

The whole story? Sure. Let my brother drive the car, he burned out the clutch, i had it towed home from Dallas, Tx to Houston, Tx. Had the clutch AND flywheel replaced by a shop that honored my warranty. 2 weeks later i took it back compaining of weird noise coming from engine, told it would be thousands of dollars in finding the noise... few nights later wound up broken down on the side of the road after accelerating hard (AKA trying to get in front of a car to make a turn), had numerous shops INCLUDING Momentum Audi of Houston, TX (worst i've ever seen) who destroyed the interior, even removing the airbags trying to find the problem. They were clueless and sent me back a car with thousands of dollars in repairs they refused to fix. Has been at the last shop for 6 months, trying to piece together the car. It's been a **** fest, i'd love to see where it goes but this is where we stand.

I think the mechanic had his words mixed up when he was talking to me. I was drunk as hell when i wrote that last night. And i think he ment to say the crank was bent. He already had it straightened at a shop and has the motor assembled but bought the wrong flywheel and forgot to order some stuff. The previous shop who ****ed up my first clutch installation is going to have a lawsuit on their hands. Cost of these repairs, cost they charged me to replace the initial clutch and flywheel, the cost of a brand new clutch and flywheel they ruined, and loss wages. I have been sharing cars with my mom, dad, and brother for 10 months. I had to quit my job months ago. All because work they did wasn't done right. Do you all agree i'm entitled take this to a court? My current mechanic said he will gladly testify the clutch was done in a half *** manner. Bolts were hand tightened

I think you mean to say you had a bent flywheel. If a crank was bent your engine would be screwed. As for a bent fly wheel or pressure plate. Those just have to be replaced. I would let your mechanic do the talking in court about the repairs. You really don't know much about what your talking about. As far as loss wages I would say tough luck getting that. But this is America and you can sue for anything you want. I definitely see you winning for rework repairs though. They probably didn't go straight up and then straight over to the engine when mounting the trans. Or didn't have the tool to center the clutch disc and just rammed the tranny in and bent the flywheel. Thats my 2 cents and a bent flywheel will make a noise. sometimes a click, but depends with damage.
