I know this is crazy and wrong but...
I've been looking at 4.2 and 2.7T cars and every one I run across has issues here and there. Sometimes its transmission, sometimes its cosmetic... I have just been having really pretty poor luck. That said, I've run across quite a few very clean, well kept, 2.8 cars. The "problem" with the 2.8 is that its rather sluggish.
Lets say I can scoop a really clean 2.8 for $3,500 (which is entirely possible) and supercharged it using the PES kit? The kit is going new for about $3,000 on ebay.
What are your thoughts? 5% chance that this will happen... but just curious what you guys think.
