Pull engine, w or w/o transmission ?

Pull engine, w or w/o transmission ?
I was wondering wich way would be the less work/less difficult way get pull my engine ? My K03's are on there way out and i will go stage 3 next spring. I will do the job on jack stand with limited help available. Less trouble i have happier i'll be.

WITH! For the love of Jebus don't pull without the tranny - I tried this and it is practically impossible to put the engine back in and align the clutch and all the holes on the bellhousing at the same time.
Just pull the whole kit and be done with it.

I did clutch with 4 jack stands and there is no way I wouldn't pull the tranny. It's just a lot easier to be sure that everything is lined up and to get all the tranny oil out if your changing this as well.
My only real difficulty was getting the shifter linkage back through the boot.
