Blown Wiring Main Harness
Has anyone heard of problems with RS6 shorting out the main wiring harness?
I've been doing some research on buying one and saw a post on another group about this.
Apparently water leaked through the firewall because the fresh air duct was plugged.
Is this a common problem or has anyone ever heard of this?

This is a C5 A6 platform issue. If debris and crap gets in the cowl area the drains can plug. If the drains plug the water can build up and enter the cabin. If it enters the cabin and floods the floor the wiring can short out.
check the car and check the cowl. if clean then no problem.
