Newbie seeking advice
Ever since I was 12 years old and my dad was stationed in germany for 4 years of my life i have been obsessed with audi tt's. I first saw one on the autobahn goin about 150 past us. I am now in a position in which i will be able to afford one (used however) within the next year or two. The question i have for you guys is what should i look for exactly when buying a used one. I know about the timing belt and instrument panel but what else has caused problems for people over the years. I was also wondering what would be the first couple mods that should be done so i can add the amount of those mods to my loan in order to have it all done once i own the car. I was thinking probably chipping, suspension, and exhaust. Direveter valve and such ill wait on and i dont plan on going big turbo. I would also like it to be a 1.8 225 and convertible if possible. please let me know your opinions.
