Default Just bought an 02 180hp TT roadster

And I love it!

Picked it up with 56k miles, and the exterior is flawless. Interior is in good shape too, but there are a few things I'm going to need to fix:

The red digital display in the center of the console has that familiar missing pixel problem. I'm at about 50% missing right now. I've seen a lot of threads on this, but most of the information I've come across is outdated. What's the best place to get a replacement from?

I have the stock Bose HU with a 6 disc changer; what's the best bet for adding an Aux In for my mp3 player? Also, the cigarette lighter seems to be dead; fuse is good, but I'm still not getting any power.

And finally, any particular tips and tricks I should know for keeping her up and running in good shape? Loving the 5 speed!

Modulemaster/ BB manufacturing seem to be the most recommended for the cluster. Sometimes they have no replacement LCDs so you might have to wait a couple of weeks. You have to remove the cluster and send it in as the immobilizer is in the cluster. You fix the one you have rather than exchange the unit.

Blitzsafe and GROM have adapters for Ipod/ Mp3 players that plug into the changer port behind the stereo. $60-100 and about 30 minutes if you have the radio removal keys.

Not sure on the cigarette lighter, I have a Bentley I will check.

Thanks! Hrm, so I guess I'll be immobile while the cluster is out... not optimal, but I guess I can time that out.

I'll check in to Blitzsafe and GROM. I don't have the radio removal keys, but I've seen that someone has shown how to make some with a grinder. Otherwise, any ideas on where to get those keys, or something that will do the trick?

I did get the cigarette lighter working, turned out to be a loose wire.

One more thing I was hoping to have the dealership handle (but it turns out they couldn't, since I bought it from a Chevy dealer) was the key fob. I've changed the batteries in both of my fobs, and tried to follow a couple of guides to reprogram them, but so far, no good. Is there anything I can do on an 02 to program them myself, or do I need to get to an Audi dealership?

Thanks again!
